Amelia Saffron is an undergraduate researcher in Chemical Engineering pursuing the biomolecular track. She is particularly interested in pharmaceutical optimization and production, as well as bioreactor design. Her work in the lab is focused on investigating the dynamics and metabolite production of nitrogen-fixing bacteria in porous media.

Outside of lab and academics, Amelia enjoys long walks, coffee, and plants. She also loves to cook, and occasionally ferments kombucha and yoghurt.
