Emily Chen (she/her/hers) was a graduate student in our lab at Princeton, where she obtained her PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering. Prior, she completed her undergraduate degree at Cornell University, where she studied ligands for colloidal quantum dots. She also spent three summers interning at P&G. Her research in the lab focused on viscoelastic flows in porous media. After graduating, she moved on to a postdoctoral research position at Princeton working with Zemer Gitai.

Emily was born and raised in Columbus, OH, where she became an avid Ohio State football fan. Outside of lab, you can find Emily running around the sidewalks and trails of Princeton or getting immersed in documentaries.
