Grace is a third-year undergraduate student in chemistry. She is interested in the behavior and applications of polymers in complex environments, especially synthetic routes toward tunable, biodegradable polymers optimized for environmental and medical applications. Her work in the lab studies the heat transfer enhancement capabilities of polymer solutions flowing through porous media. 

Grace is also a member of the Caltech Swim and Dive Team. When she’s not in the lab or the pool, she can be found reading, hiking, or wandering local farmers’ markets in search of new succulents for her dorm-room garden.
