Yajuan is a PhD student in Soil Science at Zhejiang University, where she focuses on pore-scale solute transport using microfluidic experiments. She is visiting our lab at Caltech for a year, where she is building on her expertise to investigate how elastic flow instabilities enhance chemical reactions to degrade NAPL in porous structures.

Yajuan grew up on the southeastern coast of China. In her free time, she enjoys cultivating flowers and plants, practicing Chinese calligraphy, and photographing quiet landscapes.
